Amanda MIller MS, OTR/L

Hi, I’m Amanda! I am a dedicated and experienced occupational therapist committed to providing high quality evidence based care to my clients and their families. I earned my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2014 and have nearly 10 years of experience providing occupational therapy services within clients’ homes, hospital based centers, and outpatient clinic settings.

I enjoy collaborating with a wide range of individuals, including children, teens and adults who are looking for support in areas such as daily living skills, work and school performance, relationships, and other activities that make life meaningful. We all struggle and sometimes feel overwhelmed with life’s challenges. In my sessions you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space to explore your strengths and concerns. My therapeutic approach includes a combination of cognitive, sensory processing, and social-emotional techniques to promote healthier habits and more satisfying engagement in life’s many occupations.

I accept clients with and without formal diagnoses, and I specialize in partnering with adults and teens who experience neurodivergence including ADHD, Anxiety/Mood Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Sensory Processing Disorder. Additional areas of expertise include pediatric feeding difficulties and fine motor delays.

I believe in lifelong learning and have obtained additional board certification in pediatrics (BCP) as well as advanced training as an ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist (ASDCS). Other specialized approaches include the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding and Therapeutic Listening intervention.

Outside of clinical work I enjoy reading, adventuring outdoors with my husband and two golden retrievers, playing computer games and board games, embroidery, and learning aerial hoop.

For those who know they want to make changes in their life but don’t know where to begin - I see you!  I believe that each person can learn the skills to manage their day to day living, pursue activities that bring joy and meaning, and connect with a deeper sense of self-acceptance and authenticity.

Please reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation with me to determine if we may be a good fit!
